Complementary and Therapy Training Wales​

Manicures can be found on nearly every treatment menu, and are often the bread and butter of many beauty businesses. The manicure offers the therapist or technician a whole range of options to suit nearly every client. This course will teach you the essential skills you need to know about offering a professional manicure, and includes a practical training session and assessment.

The GTi Gel Polish course covers how to complete gel polish application and demonstrates the correct removal techniques.

​

The theory for the Manicure course and the Gel Polish course is done online via the Beauty Guild website. After you have registered with us we will register you with The Guild about one month before the practical course weekend. 

You will complete three sets of modules. Firstly the Guild's Professional Standards modules, and then you can access the Manicure modules and the Gel Polish modules.  Following completion of the practical element of the course you will receive 3 Beauty Guild certificates and one West Shires School certificate.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images and diagrams to give you the best possible learning experience.   On the practical course your tutor Stacey Jones will demonstrate and guide you to learn all the skills you need for achieving a professional manicure and the application of good quality nail polish and also the application of gel polish.

​Kit:   Training materials are provided on the day, but you will be advised on what products you need for clinical practice.
