This qualification will give you the skills to provide professional facial skin care. You will learn to analyse the skin to determine the skin type, and learn the correct ways to perform a deep cleanse, toning, exfoliating, steaming, applying masks and a facial and scalp massage, for the benefit of improving skin health, condition and appearance.  This is a course that you can use professionally - and facials are one of the most asked for beauty treatments - or you can use these skills confidently with friends, acquaintances and family.

You start by completing an online course on Professional Standards - then move onto complete the following modules

The Cardiovascular System and The Lymphatic System

Practical Module - this module is done in person at the School with tutor Stacey Jones, who offers a high level of occupational ability with many years experience from a large client list.

The facial is a popular choice with clients and as such if you are already a trained therapist in another discipline this qualification gives you an added holistically based treatment to add to what you can offer.

The course also goes very well with other courses you can undertake - like the application of makeup, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, nails etc.  Thus you can start to build up a number of qualifications that the beauty therapist can offer.

Assessment - You will return for assessment having had a month to practice the treatment on as many people as possible.

Tutor for the Practical element of the course: Stacey Jones.

Stacey is an extremely experienced beauty and complementary therapist, as well as a qualified teacher, and as such you are assured of a confident and well paced and enjoyable course that will offer you the best training in this field of work. Stacey also offers courses and workshops in other aspects of beauty and complementary health.
