Baby and Toddler Reflex Workshop

Tuesday and Wednesday 3rd and 4th July 2018
Time :  9.30 - 4.30

What is Baby and Toddler Reflex?
This is a specialised form of Reflexology which was developed by Jenny Lee, a Chartered Physiotherapist and qualified Reflexologist, following 15 years' extensive research into the effects of regular Reflexology on Childhood Asthma. The main effects found of relaxation, improved sleep and child/parent bonding encouraged Jenny to create baby reflex in 2005.

Starting a baby and toddler out in life with the basic skills learnt in a baby reflex class gives both the child and the parents a wonderful way of naturally helping with the challenging issues of development at each stage - as well as promoting a healthy reliance  on hands-on techniques and self care that should carry on into life.

On this workshop you will learn how to work with baby's up to about 10 months old and then  how to work with toddlers up to about the age of 3.   There will be a lot of practical help with the particular skills needed to work with the little ones and their parents, and you will then be able to work on a 1:1 basis or run small classes or workshops of your own.

Day 1 - this day focuses on the babies an you will learn the specific baby reflex techniques that help with such things as colic, teething, reflux and sleep.

Day 2 - follows on nicely and is aimed at toddlers from 10 months onwards. You will learn how to teach parents basic Reflexology techniques on their toddlers hands and feet using nursery rhymes  to aid memory and engage the child.
