Certificate in Eyebrow and Facial Waxing and Eyebrow Tinting

Saturday 30th September  

9.30am to 5pm 

This qualification will develop your skills in the practical aspects of eyebrow shaping and in the skill of colouring - eyelashes and eyebrows.  You will learn how to maintain the original eyebrow shape or to change the shape if desired.  You will also learn different colour characteristics and the chemical process of tinting.  

 

This course has one unit of study to include:

The main outcomes of the qualification are:

1. Maintain safe and effective methods of working when enhancing the appearance of eyebrows and eyelashes

2. Consult, plan and prepare for the treatment with clients

3. The qualification

        Shape eyebrows

        Tint eyebrows and lashes

        Apply artificial eyelashes

        Provide aftercare advice

This course covers the techniques to enable you to provide a professional eyebrow & facial waxing & eyebrow tinting treatment. Theory is delivered online with clear diagrams. This is completed in your own time prior to the practical attendance dates in September at the college. 

The practical element is taught in a full day training session at West Shires.  Consultation and contra-indication guidance is covered in the theory element of the course. Photographs and diagrams ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform a professional Eyebrow & Facial Waxing & Eyebrow Tinting Treatment.

Entry requirements: GTi Professional Standards - This is a free online initial course that you need to do once enrolled with The Guild. Once completed you can progress onto the Facial waxing modules. (If you have completed any previous Guild courses, you won't need to repeat the Professional Standards module).

Cost:  150 (includes £25 enrolment fee)

Kit:   Training materials are provided on the day, but you will be advised on what products you need for practice.
