Essential oils are derived from the flowers, leaves, seeds, fruit rind, heartwood, resin/bark/sap and roots of aromatic plants. They have been used for thousands of years. Numerous ancient civilisations including the Egyptians & Vedas make reference to using aromatic plants for religious, medical and culinary purposes.
They are used extensively in the cosmetic and food industries, both for their aroma and also flavour. The essential oils have many therapeutic properties that may assist the body with a variety of ailments. They are absorbed through the skin where their biological and pharmacological properties can affect the body.
A maximum of 6 students ensures that you receive a high level of training and attention from the tutor.
